We are blessed to have an amazing team of men and women that safeguard our families here at RIO TOWNSEND.

Led by Director, Roy “Hoot” Shields, the team is certified by the Blount County Sheriff’s Department and train on their range.

Our team doesn’t carry weapons because they hate the bad guys, they carry weapons because they love the congregation enough to protect and serve.

RIO TOWNSEND is a safe haven and a shelter from the storm.
